Week Six - Wade Phillips

Go to fullsize imageThe Dallas Cowboys were picked by many prognosticators to be the NFC's representative in the Superbowl this year, a Superbowl hosted by those same Dallas Cowboys.  Never before has a team played in the Superbowl in their home stadium, but the Cowboys were a hot pick to be the first.  Now at 1-4, coming off a heartbreaking loss at Minnesota, is it time for a coaching change?  Dallas continues to be one of the most penalized teams in the NFL, and routinely make silly mistakes that make winning all the harder.  One Cowboys blogger says Phillips looks inept, check out Jean-Jacque Taylor's blog here.  So you be the judge, is it time for a new sheriff in Big D, perhaps Bill Cowher?

  1. I think it is a good time for a coaching change in Dallas. The Cowboys should not be 1-4 right now. Bill Cowher could help gets things going on the right track.

  2. I also think it is time to get a new Cowboys coach in Dallas. I understand how teams can just go through a slow start, but the fact that they keep making the same stupid plays and the same stupid penalties, something has got to change. If Bill Cowher is the man, so be it but anyone would be a step up from what they have now.
