Josh McDaniels

As we talked about last week, Denver Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels had been in hot water, well now we can tell you that he has indeed been fired.  After the 3-9 Broncos lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, McDaniels was relieved of duty.  You may remember that McDaniels began his head coaching career with a 6-0 start last year.  Since that time, the Broncos have gone 5-15, and missed the playoffs both years.  It is hard to understand how a team that wins their first six games can go 2-6 the rest of the way, and carry that negative momentum to the next season.  McDaniels has paid the price for his team's subpar play, maybe he wasn't ready to be a head coach after all.

Who's next?

In this year there seem to be an unusual amount of head coaches being fired. The first one to go was Dallas head coach Wade Phillips, second was Vikings Head coach Brad Childress and now there is recent talk that Josh McDaniels may get the boot. I am curious what everyone else thinks about the firings in this NFL season. Do you think that it is the head coach fault that the teams of the recently fired coaches are doing poorly. And what do you think about Josh McDaniels was he too young to be thrown into a Head Coaching position and will he also get the boot before the end of the season? let me know what you think
