Josh McDaniels

As we talked about last week, Denver Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels had been in hot water, well now we can tell you that he has indeed been fired.  After the 3-9 Broncos lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, McDaniels was relieved of duty.  You may remember that McDaniels began his head coaching career with a 6-0 start last year.  Since that time, the Broncos have gone 5-15, and missed the playoffs both years.  It is hard to understand how a team that wins their first six games can go 2-6 the rest of the way, and carry that negative momentum to the next season.  McDaniels has paid the price for his team's subpar play, maybe he wasn't ready to be a head coach after all.

  1. Coach McDaniels was a terrible coach. As a huge Denver Broncos fan, I am so happy that he is out of Denver. He never really brought any good thing to Denver except for Tim Tebow (who wasn't brought in by McDaniels, but by owner Pat Bowen). It will be interesting to see who the Broncos bring in as a coach for next season.
